Cindy Abbott raced in the Iditarod since our first interview with her in March 2013, continuing her quest to raise awareness about her rare, life-threatening disease, Vasculitis, and the National Organization of Rare Disorders (NORD). On May 25, 2013, TWE Radio host Stacey Gualandi spoke with Cindy who shared her 19-year journey to get the proper diagnosis and treatment of her Vasculitis, and her continued awareness campaign for NORD by climbing the highest mountain in the world, competing in the treacherous Iditarod dog sled race, and through an upcoming documentary. Since her appearance on ABC's Shark Tank with her husband, Steve, Susie Taylor's innovative bib business, Bibbitec, has become quite a success. She's now writing a How-To book that shares her experience of becoming an entrepreneur and shows how other mothers can do it too.
