Don't miss a BRAND NEW interview on The Women’s Eye Radio with Stacey Gualandi as I talk with acclaimed restaurateur Elizabeth Blau about the recipes, cooking tips and personal stories found in her new cookbook, Honey Salt Food & Drink - A Culinary Scrapbook.

As a Las Vegas resident who loves to make reservations, I have made Honey Salt a dining destination for me and my family. So having Blau - fresh from a Canadian cranberry bog - chat with me in studio AND share an (in)famous "brookie" (combo brownie/cookie) for my birthday was a rare treat.

With talent - and good taste buds - Elizabeth Blau is now the queen of cuisine in Las Vegas. Together with her husband and masterful Chef Kim Canteenwalla, the James Beard nominees have made their mark on and off the Strip, and more recently in Vancouver, with several world class restaurants.

But it was the opening of Honey Salt six years ago that sealed their epicurean empire. And now she and her husband are on a (lobster) roll with their first cookbook!

But Harris is also a public speaker, certified trainer and a cancer survivor and thriver - perhaps her most important role to date (besides mom to Jossie and Hilly!)! In 2014, Harris found a lump AFTER a mammogram all-clear, and was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Following a double mastectomy, Harris decided to "come out" publicly and so began her mission to take control of her disease, educate herself on her body IQ, and write a "crisis survival guide" for others, "one manageable step at a time."

Don't miss a BRAND NEW interview on The Women’s Eye Radio as Stacey Gualandi catches up with Jeannette Maré, the founder of the Ben's Bells Project in Tucson, Arizona.

In 2002, Jeannette's 3-year-old son Ben died suddenly. As a way to deal with her devastating grief, this teacher-by-trade began making clay wind chimes that contained bells and tiny messages of kindness.

On the first anniversary of Ben's death, hundreds of these bell chimes were put up around Tucson, encouraging people to pass on their uplifting messages. The project quickly turned personal tragedy into something positive for Jeannette, and ultimately for the world.

Don't miss A BRAND NEW interview on The Women’s Eye Radio  with Betsy West and Julie Cohen, the award-winning documentary filmmakers behind the Sundance Film Festival favorite "RBG."

"RBG" stars U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the 85-year-old warrior of women's rights, feminist icon and pop culture phenomenon now known affectionately as the "Notorious RBG."

Three years ago, West and Cohen decided to join forces -  along with a talented team of creative females - to bring Justice Ginsburg to the big screen and to the masses.

Having each interviewed Justice Ginsburg for separate projects years ago, they believed that RBG was having her moment in 2015 and wanted to capture her rising popularity, especially with millennials.

Little did they know that while filming, this diminutive Bronx-born, opera-loving jurist with the big dissents, would become a symbol of gender equality rights.

A BRAND NEW conversation on The Women’s Eye Radio with host Stacey Gualandi and Sally Colon-Petree, Dream On Productions founder and the director of Women Like Us. Three Journeys. One Mission. To Change the World.

The self-taught filmmaker has worn many hats - host, actress, singer, and producer – but now she has found her life’s mission: to shed light on what is happening to women around the world.

Her debut documentary, Women Like Us, is a labor of love that took the mother of two girls to Africa and all over the US. She filmed “unimaginable social injustices young women face,” including sex trafficking, female genital mutilation, teen suicide, poverty and bullying. The timing of the film couldn’t be more perfect in the current #MeToo/Times Up climate.

“I want people to be aware, not to live in fear,” says Colon-Petree.
