Be sure to tune in to my BRAND NEW interview on The Women's Eye Radio with  guest Kelsey Witherow, the "fearless leader" of DOUGHP, a "legit cookie dough" business! In 2015, Witherow got sober, left a career in high-tech product marketing, and followed her passion for baking.

She opened her first store with "edible, bakeable, and ridiculously tasty cookie dough" on San Francisco's PIER 39, then a kiosk at the Giants’ Oracle Park, and just recently branched out to the Miracle Mile shops inside Planet Hollywood.

It was at the opening of her Las Vegas Strip location that I first met Witherow and became instantly taken with her story.

In honor of Women's History Month, don't miss my Brand New interview on The Women's Eye Radio with Sheila Ronning, the founder and CEO of Women in the Boardroom. With more and more women working their way up in companies nationwide, we wanted to know from Sheila her advice on just how to make it to the boardroom.

Ronning is a sought-after speaker, networking and leadership expert. Seventeen years ago, as a PR executive who created successful networking events, she set out to increase the number of women getting the proverbial equal seat at the corporate table and that's when Women in the Boardroom was born.

Stacey Gualandi chats with Kamala Lopez, the award-winning actress, activist and director of the documentary Equal Means Equal. I think you will enjoy this fascinating “Her-story” lesson!

In her 2016 film, Lopez tackled gender discrimination, legalizing equality and the mission long underway to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The film received Best U.S. Documentary (Audience Award) at Michael Moore’s TCF Festival and was a New York Times Critics’ Pick.

She also just received the inaugural YaleWomen Impact Award for Excellence, which she will accept at the National Press Club in March. It is described as an "unflinching look at how women are treated in the United States today" and likely an early rallying cry for the current - and very timely -  E.R.A. ratification "movement."

Stacey Gualandi chats with Carole Brody Fleet, widely credited as America's go-to expert on grief recovery. Carole joins me in the studio to talk about her latest book, Loss is a Four-Letter Word, a Bereavement Boot Camp For the Widowed, available now.

When Carole Brody Fleet lost her husband Mike to ALS, she was a young mother of a 9-year-old girl. Resources on how to navigate this unimaginable and frightening "widowhood journey" were hard to come by so she began writing.

She understood what it meant to feel alone and marginalized, and "wanted to be someone that people felt they could turn to."

This award-winning author is not only a wonderful writer and tireless advocate for widows, she is also a long-time friend of mine and TWE. I first interviewed her nearly a decade ago after my dad passed away.

Don't miss a BRAND NEW interview on The Women’s Eye Radio with Stacey Gualandi as I talk with acclaimed restaurateur Elizabeth Blau about the recipes, cooking tips and personal stories found in her new cookbook, Honey Salt Food & Drink - A Culinary Scrapbook.

As a Las Vegas resident who loves to make reservations, I have made Honey Salt a dining destination for me and my family. So having Blau - fresh from a Canadian cranberry bog - chat with me in studio AND share an (in)famous "brookie" (combo brownie/cookie) for my birthday was a rare treat.

With talent - and good taste buds - Elizabeth Blau is now the queen of cuisine in Las Vegas. Together with her husband and masterful Chef Kim Canteenwalla, the James Beard nominees have made their mark on and off the Strip, and more recently in Vancouver, with several world class restaurants.

But it was the opening of Honey Salt six years ago that sealed their epicurean empire. And now she and her husband are on a (lobster) roll with their first cookbook!

Don't miss A BRAND NEW interview on The Women’s Eye Radio  with Betsy West and Julie Cohen, the award-winning documentary filmmakers behind the Sundance Film Festival favorite "RBG."

"RBG" stars U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the 85-year-old warrior of women's rights, feminist icon and pop culture phenomenon now known affectionately as the "Notorious RBG."

Three years ago, West and Cohen decided to join forces -  along with a talented team of creative females - to bring Justice Ginsburg to the big screen and to the masses.

Having each interviewed Justice Ginsburg for separate projects years ago, they believed that RBG was having her moment in 2015 and wanted to capture her rising popularity, especially with millennials.

Little did they know that while filming, this diminutive Bronx-born, opera-loving jurist with the big dissents, would become a symbol of gender equality rights.

A BRAND NEW conversation on The Women’s Eye Radio with host Stacey Gualandi and Sally Colon-Petree, Dream On Productions founder and the director of Women Like Us. Three Journeys. One Mission. To Change the World.

The self-taught filmmaker has worn many hats - host, actress, singer, and producer – but now she has found her life’s mission: to shed light on what is happening to women around the world.

Her debut documentary, Women Like Us, is a labor of love that took the mother of two girls to Africa and all over the US. She filmed “unimaginable social injustices young women face,” including sex trafficking, female genital mutilation, teen suicide, poverty and bullying. The timing of the film couldn’t be more perfect in the current #MeToo/Times Up climate.

“I want people to be aware, not to live in fear,” says Colon-Petree.

A BRAND NEW interview with Holly Dowling, the author of Hollyisms. Let Your Light Shine! 50 Inspirations in 140 Characters or Less, on The Women’s Eye Radio with host Stacey Gualandi. The "Hollyism" that really spoke to me was that life is not about work rather your work should bring you life and brighten your life.

This one-time cruise director is now an award-winning corporate keynote speaker and inspirational thought leader. (We’d like to add the Princess of Positivity!)

Through her motivational talks, Holly truly inspires and is “a walking testimony that it’s never too late to live your dreams and goals.”

During this interview, you will learn about Holly’s own personal challenges and breakthroughs (she says you can “be bitter or better”), her mantras for success (“Tell me no, watch me go!), her three pillars of power, and why you should get rid of those New Year’s Resolutions!

To learn more, check out hollydowling.com. If Holly has her way, you’ll be chanting, “Wow is me, not whoa is me” in no time!

Be sure to tune in to Stacey’s BRAND NEW interview for The Women’s Eye Radio with Tina Hovsepian (@TinaHovsepian), the inventor of Cardborigami, origami-inspired homeless shelters!

Seeing a need to combat the ever-present homeless problem in Los Angeles, this full-time architect created a solution: a collapsible, transportable cardboard shelter. In just seven years, it’s the invention that keeps on giving. In addition to helping people get off the streets and back on the feet, Cardboragami shelters are now being used to help those impacted by natural disasters, most recently in Mexico following the devastating earthquake.

We first profiled Tina and Cardborigami for The Women’s Eye in 2015; now she is one of several women who are featured in the recently released 20 WOMEN CHANGEMAKERS as a proponent for change who is taking action around the world.

Keep an eye on her because this young innovator is just getting started!

We first profiled Sukey on The Women's Eye in 2014 following the release of her memoir, a candid and emotional journey of a mother’s grief following the sudden death of her 6-year-old daughter Charlotte.

Now Sukey is recapturing the joy of life with two new writing projects on mid-life reinvention. She tries to answer the question: “What does one do when they gaze into the second act of their life and want to make it a true adventure for learning, expanding, and loving?”

Today, Doniece Sandoval is giving us an update on the latest news about her organization, Lava Mae, which she founded five years ago after observing an overwhelming number of homeless individuals in San Francisco who were stripped of their dignity without a simple, daily shower. By retrofitting busses, she brings showers, services and dignity to the homeless, transforming the way services are provided to the less fortunate and changing their lives.

We first profiled Doniece and Lava Mae for The Women's Eye in 2014 and have since closely followed her work. Now she is one of the women featured in our new book, 20 Women Changemakers: Taking Action Around the World. She also has been chosen as a CNN Hero.
